Led by executive coach, speaker, trainer, and consultant Sean Ryan, WhiteWater Consulting Group specializes in change management, leadership development and succession planning.

WWCG brings more than 20 years experience in helping organizations understand the challenges they face and then guiding them through the turbulence. Throughout the process, our goal is to help the client organizations to build the skills to navigate the rapids themselves.

At WWCG, we have identified five focus areas to help our clients successfully navigate the whitewater. We can help guide clients through the whole process or we can provide support in any one of the areas.

  • Understanding the Gap between where you are and where you need to be to succeed and prosper
  • Developing and executing effective change
  • Building Systems, Structures and Processes that enable success
  • Developing Leaders who engage people and generate results for the organization's key stakeholders
  • Developing and Educating People to perform their best and grow with the organization

Focused on our Clients' Goals and their Results

Working with us, our clients:
  • Build revenues and profits through improved customer loyalty;
  • Improve margins by eliminating waste and inefficient costs;
  • Build strong, highly adaptive, performance-oriented cultures;
  • Quickly and effectively adapt to changes in their operating environment;
  • Create rigorous accountability for performance;
  • Make better decisions at all levels of their organization
  • Build cultures that allow people to contribute their best every day;
  • Quickly achieve the benefits of mergers and acquisitions;
  • Improve the skills and capabilities of leaders and managers; and
  • Train and educate their employees to improve service, quality, productivity and the effectiveness of their decisions.

Our experience is especially valuable during those critical turning points in an organization's life cycle in which the stakes are the greatest:

  • Initial start-up;
  • Rapid/exponential growth and expansion;
  • When new competition enters the market-space, or the operating environment dramatically changes;
  • When the organization is on the verge of financial or operating meltdown; or
  • When mergers and acquisitions occur and it's critical to integrate two, or more, organizations quickly and effectively.

Our mission is to help our clients achieve and sustain outstanding performance through unleashing the passion and capabilities of people.

We are successful only when our clients are successful. We hope that through our interactions, our clients will be able to create superior value for their customers/clients, create an environment in which the people in the organization can and do contribute their best every day and enhance the sustainability of their organization.  Here is an overview of the results we've delivered for our clients.

We believe that organizations are at their best when they create an environment in which people are passionate about and committed to performing their best everyday. We think that people often have far more to contribute and want to contribute more than they currently do. Helping organizations to find ways to unleash this passion and capability is what drives us everyday.

Our ability to inspire trust and confidence in our clients is our stock in trade. Our role requires that we tell it like it is, even when (maybe, especially when) the truth contains bad news. We believe that honesty and integrity only exist in environments in which "Facts are Friendly" (even when they are unpleasant). We don't make commitments lightly, but strive to deliver on them completely, every time.

We treat everyone fairly and with dignity. We strive to be exemplary citizens and participate with sensitivity in the community.

We are patiently impatient. Creating highly successful, sustainable organizations is a complex and difficult process. This process takes time, yet we're impatient to move forward. Customers' expectations, competitors and technology evolve constantly. To achieve and sustain success, organizations must evolve faster. Yet, there is no magic potion. True, deep change requires changing systems, structures, processes and individual and organizational mental models and embedded habits. We can't click our heals and spin around twice and make the necessary changes be over…and, we're always leery of those who promise that they can.

Learning involves constantly challenging our mental models, assumptions and beliefs. The questions asked are often more important that the answers given.  Organizations are more successful when they understand that failure is a natural consequence of experimentation and coping with a constantly changing environment. The key skill is not avoiding failure, but acknowledging it, learning from it and quickly applying it to make their organizations better.

We strongly believe in the old adage, "Anything worth doing is worth doing well." We also think we ought to be having fun doing it. And, we think there is little else more fun than helping organizations and the people in those organizations to be the best they can be…every day.
